Fathers Lead the Way!

Majlis in collaboration with Akanksha Foundation conducted an interactive session with fathers on handling disclosures of Child Sexual Abuse and to familiarise them with legal remedies under the POCSO Act.

Through group discussions, fathers shared experiences, voiced concerns, and learnt about:

✔️ Child-friendly reporting & complaint mechanisms

✔️ The role of Police & Child Welfare Committees (CWC)

✔️ Legal supports available for children & families

The session highlighted the importance of safe spaces, awareness, and continuous engagement in safeguarding children.
